Anti-cancer Drug Susceptibility of Breast Cancer Cells Incubated on Electrospun Polymeric Fiber Substrates

In this study, we examined the effect of a combination surface topographies (fiber alignments) and different stiffness poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) substrates on direct relationship between anti-cancer drug (CDDP) sensitivity for MDA-MB-231 cells mesenchymal properties under both normal hypoxic conditions. addition, studied induction epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT). The CDDP treatment hypoxia indicated poor adhesion as well significant repression E-cadherin (CDH1). robust connection epithelial cell marker (CDH1) mediated by substrate topography contributed to resistance cells. PLLA did not cause change in acquisition EMT, indicating that EMT exerted no susceptibility.
